Day 1 – ON THE FIRST OR THIRD WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH : ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Upon arrival in Hanoi, meet our representative at the airport then transfer to check in a hotel (if rooms available, official check-in time: 2:00pm).

Day 2: HANOI (B-D)

9:00 Full day for exploring the fascinating city of Hanoi where old and new things blend together, Vietnamese, Chinese and French cultures mix together.

Activities: a pleasant walk around the peaceful Ho Chi Minh area, visit HCM Mausoleum (close on Monday and Friday morning, close in the whole months of October and November), HCM’s stilt house and garden, the One Pillar pagoda. Take another pleasant walk at the beautiful Temple of Literature, visit the Vietnamese Women Museum.

Enjoy a fantastic trishaw ride through the hustle and bustle of the city center.

Finally take a fascinating walk through the famous 36 busy streets of the Old Quarter and shopping.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B – L – D)

Breakfast at the hotel.

8:00 Transfer to Halong Bay, a World Natural Heritage site.

Upon arrival, check in a shared deluxe junk and start cruising.

Enjoy fabulous seafood, stunning sceneries, swimming (weather permitting), kayaking (excluded), and fishing.

Day 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI – HUE (B – BRUNCH)

Morning continue the cruise along simply gorgeous sceneries including a brunch on board.

12:00: drive back to Hanoi

16:00 Drop off at the hotel in Hanoi andFree time on your own to explore Hanoi old quarter

17:00 transfer to Hanoi airport to take a flight to Hue

Day 5: HUE – THUY BIEU ECO VILLAGE (B-L)

8:00 Transfer to visit King Tu Duc’s tomb.

Then transfer to Toa Kham wharf for cruising on the Perfume River. Visit the iconic Thien Mu pagoda – the symbol of Hue city.  

Back to the boat for a scenic cruise to Thuy Bieu Village – famous for Thanh Tra fruit.

Arrive at Thuy Bieu,  have lunch at a local house with Hue traditional specialties. Relax by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water – a traditional therapeutic practice. Enjoy a nice massage by blind people.

Enjoy a nice bike ride around villages (weather permitting).  Visit the garden – house, ancient ancestral temple and communicate with local people. Visit incense making family and discover the daily life of local people while they are working strenuously with joy and enthusiasm.

Back to the hotel for relaxation

Overnight in Hue

Day 6: HUE – HOIAN (B)

Morning check out the hotel and continue Hue city tour to visit the Hue Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market.

Then enjoy a scenic drive to Hoi An via the Hai Van pass. Take a stroll on the beautiful Lang Co beach.

Arrival in Danang, stop to visit the fine arts Cham museum and climb the Marble Mountains.

Arrival in Hoian in the late afternoon, a very charming ancient town, another World Heritage site in Vietnam. Hoian is a great place for having your fancy clothes made overnight with good services and prices.

Check in a hotel and free time on your own.

Day 7: HOIAN FREE DAY (B)

Full day free on your own to explore this charming ancient town

Day 8: HOI AN – DANANG – HCMC (B)

09:00 Transfer to the airport to take a flight to HCMC

Upon arrival, meet our guide and transfer for city tour visit the War Museum, The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office and The People’s Committee Hall which were all built during the French colonial period, the Ben Thanh market.

17:00 Enjoy the unique water puppet show

Overnight in HCMC

Day 9: HCMC – CAI BE (B-L-D)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit the Binh Tay market in China town. Continue to Cai Be located on the Upper Branch of the Mighty Mekong River.

Enjoy boating on the river, observing the fruit whole sale market in Cai Be, and see the locals producing pop rice, popcorn and coconut candies. Enjoy a sampan ride through small canals. Visit a garden to enjoy fruits and traditional music.

Enjoy lunch with local specialties at a local home (included)

Transfer back to HCMC

Enjoy dinner cruise on the Saigon River for farewell (included)

Day 10: HCMC – CU CHI TUNNELS – DEPARTURE (B)

Morning transfer to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which provide shelters for Vietnamese guerrillas during the Vietnam War against American troops.

Afterwards, go back to HCMC.

Transfer to the airport for flight out.

Note: After check-out at 12:00, luggage can be stored at the hotel (no extra cost), late transfer to the airport for evening flight is available (no extra cost).
