One of most special highlight in Indochian travel, you can taste local food in each regions that we will arrange all lunch or dinner in Vietnamese food, and If you have any specific food requirements (vegetarian, vegan, food allergies) please inform us in advance so that we can provide notice to our restaurant, tour guide or our partners so that they can server you better. If you are a food lover, Cruises Mekong River can be your culinary guide and provide you the opportunity to savor tempting local food and world-famous dishes. Please be note that for the home stay, the meal will be cook by the house owner and they are well-trained for hygiene as well as prepare for good recipes

Indochina – World Heritage Sites 13 Days

Tour starts/ ends: Saigon/ Siem Reap

Day 1: Arrive Saigon

Upon arrival in Saigon you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Free at your leisure!

Day 2: Saigon city – Mekong Delta ( B/L)

After breakfast we leave Ho Chi Minh City behind and head to Vietnam’s rice basket of Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenes until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Next we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. We return to Ho Chi Minh City about 6pm,

Day 3: Saigon City – Cuchi Tunnel ( B/L)

Full day Ho Chi Minh City tour by visiting  the legendary Cu Chi Tunnel, which was dug and used by Viet Cong during the second Indochina war. It is likely that guide was once soldier here and their insight will help us to understand the tragic part of Vietnamese history. Some part of the tunnel has been dug out bigger for accommodate foreigners- more than touch of irony here! It is also the chance for us to try some shots of the AK47, the rifle that use by Viet Cong during the war. We return Ho Chi Minh City in the early afternoon. We tour around the city to visit the highlight of Ho Chi Minh City including: Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Formal Presidential Palace, Museum of War Remnants, then fly to Hanoi

Day 4: Hanoi City Tour ( B/L)

Sites visited: Ho Chi Minh complex, Temple of Literature, Ethnology Museum, West Lake area, Hoan Kiem Lake, Water Puppet show
We will visit Ho Chi Minh complex and the Temple of Literature then we stop for our lunch at a local fine restaurant. This afternoon, we visit the Ethnology Museum, West Lake area (Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda), Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. We have one hour to tale cyclo (also called trishaw) to travel around the Ancient city to see the daily Life of Hanoian and one more hour to watch The Water Puppet show in the Theater on the bank of Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 5 Hanoi – Halong Bay  (B/ L/ D)

08:00 We transfer to Halong.
11:45 Arrive at Bai Chay Wharf
12:15 Transfer by tender to the Red Dragon Cruise boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive Junk Facilities and Cruise Instruction as well as Cruise Briefing before check in to cabins and begin cruise Off the Bitten Track.
13:00 Lunch – deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Menu.
15.00 Arrive at Titop Island Area. Transfer to Titop Island by tender. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for gorgeous views and photo opportunities for 45 minutes.
15.45 Transfer back to the boat and sail for approximately 45 minutes to Bat Cave area.
16.30 Arrive at the Bat Cave area. Enjoy 01 hour kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave, lagoon and surrounding waters. Or visit the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay by tender and tour the village for 20 minutes.
18:00 Cruise to the area to anchor for overnight.
19:00 Dinner – deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.
20:30 Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room, board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew.
21:00 – 23:00 Happy Hour! Buy two drinks – get one free.
23.00 End of program for Day One

Day 6: Halong Bay (B/ L/)

6:45 Coffee, tea and light breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
08:00 Transfer to the Day Cruise Boat and begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s most secluded and untouched area. Enjoy kayaking, swimming or sunbathing on the small ambiance beaches. A multi-course lunch will be served mid-day.
16:00 Return to Red Dragon Cruise. Refreshing, Relax and enjoy the rest of the day onboard as day one

Day 7: Hanoi – Luang Prabang (B/L)

Fly to Luang Prabang this morning. Spend the afternoon walking around the city’smany beautiful temples. Finish off the day with sunset drinks and a game of Petanque on the famous Mekong River.

Day 8: Luang Prabang discovery – Mekong Boat Trip (B/L)

Visit the National Museum, then travel up river by slow boat to visit Pak Ou (thousand Buddha) caves. In the evening participate in a cooking clas in traditional Lao cuisine where you get the chance to taste your own creation.

Day 9: Luang Prabang City Tour (B/L)

Rise early this morning to witness hundreds of monks perform the morning alms tradition. Visit a local market, the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre, then drive to the beautiful Kuang Si falls for swimming and a bear rescue centre.

Day 10: Luang Prabang – Siemreap (B/)

Fly to Siem Reap, home of the cradle of Khmer civilisation and majestic Angkor Wat. Visit Artisans D’ Angkow silk  farm and then late in the afternoon sunset at Angkor Complex.

Day 11: Siem reap Temples of Angkor (B/L)

Depart early for sunrise at Angkor Wat. After breakfast take a tethered balloon ride and then drive through Angkor Thom city and past Bayon to Ta Phrom. This afternoon visit Tonle Sap.

Day 12: Siem Reap Outerlying Temples (B/L)

Today you will visit the outerlying temple of Boeng Melea, stopping at Dom Deak local Market along the way, visit Banteay Srei, Akira Landmine Museum and Banteay Samre before returning to town to celebrate the end of your journey

Day 13: Siemreap – Home (B/)

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey
